Alternatives instead of using "VERY"

Hola Conlanger!, another friday that passes by and August is done. Welcome to september, let’s dance.
Let’s crush this month.
Escucha esta edición en la siguiente liga:
Perfection leads to imperfection. Pt2
So, continuing with the topic. Perfection will always creep into everything we do, but the problem is that it doesn’t force us to do things perfectly but rather not do anything at all.
Now, as we reviewed last edition, you can use alternatives to calm yourself when you forget a word. But, what happens if there is no other alternative word you can actually use?
Well, then it’s time to freak out, and run.
Of course not, let me show you what you can do with an example:
Let’s say you are talking about AI and want to say:
“en especial con los temas de Inteligencia Artificial no es buena idea porque el contenido puede estar influenciado por más gente…”
So, very confidently you go like this:
“specially with AI topics, it’s not a good idea, because the content may be….” y en ese bendito momento cómo decir influenciado se vuelve tu pesadilla.
And here is where complication arises because thinking in alternatives for “Influenced” may not be a simple task so again, your perfection trying to remember the exact word for “influenciado” turns into a difficult task.
In these cases you can try explaining the word in a longer way.
Like this:
“specially with AI topics, it’s not a good idea, because the content may be with the ideas of others”
The idea is to describe what the word means and even though is longer you require simpler words.
Of course, there will be situations were this is not possible but the more you practice the alternatives and the longer explanations, the better you will get at facing these uncomfortable situations to improve your communication.
Vocabulary and Phrases
This week I want to share alternatives to VERY, you know we most likely use very for EVERYTHING and there are more advanced words, more descriptive ones you can use to express a higher level instead of just VERY
